I currently have three cats living with me. Since no one can really own a cat, I feel honored to have them sharing my house.

oscar 1
Oscar was added to the household about two weeks after Felix (see below). (Thanks, Jessi).
Ashley 1
Ashley and Cinderella are sisters, acquired from a friend after Felix died. I didn’t want Oscar to be lonely.
Ashley 2
Ashley likes to climb trees — any trees.
Ashley 3
She has grown up to be an elegant cat.
Cinderella 1
Cinderella is the fluffy one.
Cinderella 2
She can’t let her sister be the only one in the tree.
Cinderella 3
She also has her regal moments.
Visitor 1

Occasionally neighbor cats visit the cathouse. They aren’t usually well received.

Sandy, Cinderella, and Oreo
They all spend part of their time chilling on the deck

Oscar and Belle
And some just like to play in the floor.

Unfortunately, time, disease, and other factors have an effect on the cathouse residents. Sprite, Bones, Decca, Summer, Oreo, Sandy, Belle and Felix are fondly remembered.

Oreo 1
Oreo, stalking the wild acorn cap

Oreo 2
Oreo helping me type

Sandy 1
I inherited Sandy from Sara Brown. She enjoyed her time at the cathouse.

Belle 1
Belle was a foundling. I picked her up off the side of the road.

Belle 2
She can be a charmer. The best comment I heard on this picture was “looks like trouble”.

Sprite 1
Sprite, the wildcat of the group
Bones 1
Bones, lithe and long-tailed

Bones and Oreo
Bones and Oreo, the morning bathroom contingent

Decca and Oreo

Summer 1
Summer as a kitten. She has always liked to be up high.

Summer 2
Summer relaxing before coming into the house to shake off the dust.

Felix 1
Felix walked out of the woods onto the road in front of my car one night. I just had to bring him home.

Felix and Oscar 1
Felix and Oscar play hard.

Felix and Oscar 2
And they also rest hard.
